Envigo has announced that its ecotoxicology laboratories in Shardlow, Derbyshire have been successfully enhanced and refurbished after a £350,000 investment project. The six month initiative brings increased capacity for chronic ecotox studies due to more intelligent and effective laboratory design.  These improvements also mean that study data can be collected in a more efficient manner resulting in a reduction in data processing and overall study time — of huge benefit to current and prospective Envigo customers.
 
The project has seen improvements to three ecotoxicology laboratories including the air conditioning, water supply, equipment and the general working environment.  This investment reflects Envigo’s focus on ensuring their ecotox facilities are, and continue to be, a market-leading centre of excellence.
