Congratulations to Dr. Cheryl Hobbs who co-authored a paper that was selected for the Editor’s Choice award for the Environmental and Molecular Mutagenesis journal for December 2022.
Dr. Cheryl Hobbs, MS, PhD, has over 40 years of diverse experience with in vivo and in vitro models of disease and genetic damage incurred by chemical exposure, most notably in the fields of genetic toxicology, gene regulation, and epigenomics. Dr. Hobbs currently serves as the Principal Investigator for Inotiv’s contract with NIEHS’ Division of Translational Toxicology (formerly Division of the National Toxicology Program) that provides genetic toxicity testing services to the U.S. government.
The paper, “A cross-sectional clinical study in women to investigate possible genotoxicity and hematological abnormalities related to the use of black cohosh botanical dietary supplements” examines the genotoxicity of a popular dietary supplement.
