Interpreting results data requires EU facility managers to understand the benefits and limitations of different test methodologies. Merely receiving a numerical measure, or a binary positive/negative result means little without this understanding.
The challenge of forming a complete health status picture is further compounded by the increased use of multiple test suppliers. The many specialist NSP techniques now available appear to offer cost savings per test. However, collating test results from different suppliers testing different samples at different points in time complicates the formation of a unified picture of colony health.
Inotiv prides itself on providing its customers with both the results and a summarized, insightful interpretation of the data. Reports are delivered on an agreed scheduled basis (according to profile), with urgent positive test result communication protocols to alert you to a potential problem, should they occur.
Inotiv uses the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to track, collate and report on Health Monitoring tests. Each submission receives a unique reference number, which then covers all samples within that submission.
Inotiv’s FELASA compliant report is normally provided within 7 working days. Single serology or rtPCR testing results can be provided within 72 hours after receipt at our laboratory. Where conflicting or unexpected positive results are found, customers are informed immediately and appropriate action / follow up testing agreed.
For static areas we can include historical data from the last 18 months into the final report.
