What you can expect

Our serum and plasma products

All serum and plasma products provided by Inotiv are raw, non-sterile, unfiltered material from healthy, adventitious virus-free animals based on the FELASA recommendations 2014 (Mähler et al.) raised in strict barrier conditions or genetically controlled colonies. Serum can be provided in different vial sizes and is available from many different stocks or strains including many specified parameters. We can provide:

• Sterile filtration
• Heat inactivation
• Gamma irradiation
• Bulk product

Upon ordering, please specify the type of anticoagulant required. Most common types are:

• EDTA
• Lithium heparin
• Sodium heparin
• Citrate

Serum and plasma can be provided in different vial sizes and is available from many different stocks or strains including many specified parameters.

Availability and delivery: We routinely hold good stocks of pooled serum and plasma in 10ml vial sizes allowing us to ship within two working days. Product from specific stocks or strains bred at a specific age and sex are collected on request and therefore require a longer lead time.
